The 5 Qualities You Need to Reach Your Biggest Goals

image

  1. Be Positive. Everything starts with a positive mindset. Believe that you can achieve the goals you set for yourself. Obstacles are inevitable. Whatever they may be, just have the faith and determination that you can overcome them.
  2. Be persistent. Strong successful people do not give up. Do not push too hard on people or on yourself. You may make it slow according to your capacity; just keep moving forward.
  3. Be patient. According to Beverly Sills, “there are no shortcuts to places worth going.” Get into the mindset that the wait will be worth it. Always take massive action. And remember that great things take time.
  4. Be resilient. Along your journey, especially if you are just starting, there are people who tell you you won’t make it. Those are just challenges that might want you to quit. Don’t listen to them. It’s your journey not theirs. You’re aiming for your success not theirs. Look for a support group or people who are willing to encourage you. Better yet, hire a coach or a mentor who is an expert in that area you want to excel in.
  5. Be adaptable. Technologies change. Trends change. Flow with these changes. Adjust your sails to the different weathers of your journey. Keep on learning. And have an open mind to possibilities and opportunities.

There you have it. Acquire these qualities and you are on your way to great success.

What Fuels Your Drive?

be much better than what you think you are, for that is what you are.

What fuels your drive?

This is one life question that I love to answer just for the pleasure of it. This question has been posted on Quora. Only one person managed to answer it in one short, direct to the point sentence: Wish to make a difference small or big. I totally agree.

I would share my answer here. Later on, I may share it with Quora.

Life is short, we all know it. What is the best thing we could do to this short-lived existence? For me it is leaving something behind; something beautiful, something useful. Many great and not-so-great souls had passed this way. The great ones left inspiration and hope. The not-so-great ones left fear and continuing cultural conflict. This is a sad reality. And it is up to us to do our fair share of legacy.

I want to leave something beautiful in this world, not because it is a much better choice. But because something within me, tells me there is something we can do to this suffering world we are in. That voice within is what drives me to know better, to do better, to live better. I may not do something great, at least I have not done something worst.

That voice within is not given only to a selected few. It is given to each one of us. The difference lies on how well we listen to our inner knowing. If someone just give an ample time and effort to stay quiet and alone, he is able to answer the above question in a much clearer voice.

What fuels me greatly, is the inner knowing that I can be much better than what I know I am. That is where my journey is heading. I hope to see you all along.

First Step to Becoming an Achiever

First step to becoming an achiever

A person who wants to change his life for the better follows his dream.  Whatever the dream may be; it would be financial freedom, spending more quality time with the kids, or following his passion.

The key to achieving that dream is to have a plan. That plan must be written concisely and clearly. If its about financial freedom, like one of my dreams, it would include the date and number. This date is the targeted date to find yourself already achieving the dream. The number is the figure you want to hit on that specified date.

This planning involves much soul searching and honesty within yourself in order to know how hungry you are to achieving your dreams. When you have settled with your self, then go and write your concise plan.

How to Achieve Your Goals in 5 Actionable Steps

how to achieve your goals in 5 actionable steps

Hello there!

Been gone for quite a while. It is because I tilled my positivity garden first at Purposive Writer. Nope, it is not a literal garden. Everything in there is about my inward journeys. I just plant and gather some strength and confidence from there. Thankfully, that garden bears fruit and I reap strong friendships from my readers. It boosts my confidence to be here and continue with my online career.

Now, I am back with good news: how to achieve your goals in five actionable steps.

These lessons are what I learned from the latest Webinar I attended, Are You Qualified to Earn Millions Online by Jomar Hilario. His guest, Anna Maliwat, a Virtual Professional, shared how she followed Jomar’s course in successful planning. The following steps are what she did to achieve her goals:

  1. Create a plan of what would you do or be. Have a clear goal of what you want to do.
  2. See yourself in a specific date in the future. This is you achieving your goals. This is what others call as visualization. It is visualizing yourself achieving your goals in a specific date. For example: how do you see yourself on January 1, 2017. Then from there look back to this date today.
  3. Write that plan on paper. Make it tangible by writing it on paper. For example, Date: Jan. 1, 2017. I am happy taking my vacation at…..
  4. Believe in your heart and soul that it would happen. You must have the deep faith that it would happen. Prayer is the key to all things. Pray for it the more.
  5. Act on the things and ways that could lead you to attaining your goals. Planning and believing is just one half of the battle. The other half is acting on it. Here, the strategies and techniques enter into the picture. Those are the things that you incorporate into your daily habits to deliberately move your way to success. It might be studying, learning or enrolling on new courses. Sometimes the methods are difficult, but it is all worth it in the end.

May you learn something from here. These are what I am going to do too to achieve my goals in my online career journey.

7 Mental Shifts to Achieve Success in 2016

mindset

Mind setting is important especially if you want to be successful. Tucker Hughes, Director of Hughes Marino’s Orange County Office, became a millionaire at age 22. He believed the secret to millennial success in the business world is a combination of grit and creative thinking. He then shared the following seven mental shifts he implemented to turbo-charge his growth. I am sharing this information here because, like any one of us, I also want to be successful in my field, and who knows, might become a millionaire someday.

1. Age is just a number.

“Embrace your youth wholeheartedly. If you spin your age as an asset, which can be done in a variety of ways, it can be an extremely powerful differentiator. The moment you begin to give yourself an excuse for not being successful is the moment of almost certain failure.

If you believe you can really make it then you will make it. Besides, there is nothing people want to see more than a hard-working, intelligent and dedicated young professional who succeeds. Create a snowball of momentum that makes people want to be a part of your life.”

And may I add to embrace our age whether we are in the middle adulthood or in the twilight of our years. I am already in my mid life, but I believe it is not too late for me to achieve financial success and financial freedom. The choice is ours.

2. Reinvest in yourself.

“The safest investment I’ve ever made is in my future. Read at least 30 minutes a day, listen to relevant podcasts while driving and seek out mentors vigorously. You don’t just need to be a master in your field, you need to be a well-rounded genius capable of talking about any subject whether it is financial, political or sports related. Consume knowledge like air and put your pursuit of learning above all else.

I also believe that it is critically important to spoil yourself to a healthy extreme in order to reward your hard work and avoid burnout. Consider splurging on memorable experiences and luxuries that will enhance your lifestyle. I get a weekly massage like clockwork, and it is one of the best productivity hacks I employ.”

This is so true because after I found my mentor, Jomar Hilario, I came to design my destination, of where I want to go. And also let us apply meditation. This clears our mind and helps us to sharpen our focus.

3. Avoid decision fatigue.

“Attention is a finite daily resource and can be a bottleneck on productivity. No matter the mental stamina developed over time, there is always going to be a threshold where you break down and your remaining efforts for the day become suboptimal.

Conserve your mental power by making easily reversible decisions as quickly as possible and aggressively planning recurring actions so you can execute simple tasks on autopilot. I know what I am wearing to work and eating for breakfast each day next week. Do you?”

Just plan ahead. If things do not turn up the way they are supposed to be, just let go.

4. Build a resilient mind.

“The biggest differentiator between mediocrity and meteoric success is the ability to work productively for hours at a time. These long stretches are when important work is almost exclusively completed. Focus is paramount and, without intentionally developing mental stamina, you won’t be able to effectively compete with those who have systematically built up their endurance over decades in the business world.

Fast track your skills by being mindful of distractions and recognizing when you begin to wander out of focus. Perform a thorough analysis of your daily activities each night and aggressively seek opportunities for improvement.”

Self-discipline is paramount. More often if we are just starting our journey, we likely fell a dozen times. But we have to move on, start all over again until we perfected our system and hone our skills.

5. Think big. Be big.

“The science behind goal setting and its remarkable ability to accelerate success is infallible. If you don’t already have your one-, five- and 10-year goals written out and visible to you on a daily basis, do so right now. I read mine the second I wake up every single morning. Now ask yourself, what would have to happen to accomplish your 10-year goals in just one year?

The inherent power in maintaining consistency with your acknowledged goals can work both positively and negatively, and is cause for concern if you anchor yourself to a slower timeline of achievement. Be mindful and diligent in charting an optimal path that pushes you to your limit.”

Consistency is the key. Knowing our “why” helps us more in focusing our goals and achieving them in due time.

6. Be methodical.

“Plan your work and then work your plan. Perhaps my biggest breakthrough was large-scale automation of my marketing systems. I created a process that allowed me to quintuple my marketing output while increasing my conversion rate considerably.

The simplest way to put your own content plan in motion is to create a multi-step campaign that touches a prospect through a variety of different mediums every week for at least a month. Follow a logical order and craft your content in a persistent way, while never becoming annoying.

Not in a sales role? You can take a similar approach to any analytical, creative or administrative position by developing rigid organizational systems that help improve your efficiency when faced with repetitive tasks.”

7. Believe in yourself.

“If not you, then who? Someone has to make it, and nothing is stopping you from being the person who accomplishes your wildest dreams. Nearly every person who has ever failed has had an excuse. Successful people have stories of the challenges that they overcame with creative solutions. The moment you confidently feel that there is nothing you can’t learn or develop to solve the most complex of problems is the moment of guaranteed greatness.

If you still aren’t sure how to begin, start with a promise to work towards the achievement of consistent excellence each moment of every day. This is the basic building block and mentality with which I am building my career.

Keep it simple and remember that success is not an entitlement. If you really want to excel, you have to get out there and earn it every day for the rest of your life.”

I also believe, success is in our journey and not only in the destination. It is how we become along the way. By believing in our self that we can do it on a daily basis builds trust within our system. And that strong belief in our self is our weapon for whatever comes along the way. And there is no one who is able to stop us other than our self. To our success!

Have a purposeful day!

Nine Benefits Of Marketing Automation Every Business Owner Should Know

Purposive Ninja Virtual Professional
Purposive Ninja Virtual Professional

Just watched webinar on marketing automation. This is a brand new skill any virtual professional choosing this niche must learn.

“Marketing automation refers to software platforms and technologies designed for marketing departments and organizations to more effectively market on multiple channels online (such as email, social media, websites, etc.) and automate repetitive tasks.”

In previous years, before the birth of marketing automation, companies do their marketing manually. Examples of these are answering mails, sending out mails, following up of customers, and many other activities that involve a direct personal communication with customers. Nowadays companies are doing most of their business online because most of their customers can be reached online. But with the increasing number of customers, dealing with them manually and personally could be a daunting task while taking much of the time. Marketing automation then comes to the rescue. All the business owners have to do is classify their customers according to certain types then send them out emails automatically just once. They can then best serve their clientele without anybody being left out or forgotten.

And the best part of this is somebody has to do the job. Virtual professionals then must come to the scene. The webinar I watched was very helpful. But it was just an overview of the whole thing. I must learn the techie part of it online from my mentor. In the coming days, I would be enrolling on this course since I found it interesting. For the meantime, let me give you the benefits of marketing automation  to businesses. The following are some of them:

Saves time

Marketing automation saves time because the marketer has to set up the task only once and is able to cater to a large number of customers. For example, after a purchase of their product, the company has to ask the customer’s feedback. If the company has, let’s say five thousand customers, it would take time to ask the customers one by one. However, if the task of doing it is automated it would take only minutes to do the task.

Saves money

It would only take one or few people to do the automated task compared to paying more employees to accomplish the same task.

No cold calls

There would no longer be cold calls because in marketing automation it is easy to trace whose customer has opened the emails and who does not.

Faster follow-ups

In marketing automation everything is recorded. By seeing the data the marketer knows the next action to take.

Nothing forgotten

Every client is recorded and classified.

Rewarding local customers

It would be easier to trace customers who keep coming back. Rewarding them is the best way to maintain their loyalty.

No time wasted in non profit making tasks

By analyzing emails it would be easily found out who responded positively and who does not. Let go of those prospective customers who do not respond positively.

Reuse content

The company may make the same sales letter to every new prospective customer. Or may use the same content for the next month or for the following year depending on the occasion or season.

Be forced to understand your customers faster

By establishing a constant relationship with your customers through emails some may reply to some of them. Others may have complaints, requests or suggestions. Your relationship may then be mutual which is very beneficial to your company.

Hopefully, business owners may find these benefits helpful to the growth and function of their companies. When I am ready I would be glad working to any of you guys in the near future.

Have a purposeful day!
